Apple’s Magic Mouse 2 works seamlessly with devices running MacOS and iPadOS plays nicely with it as well. Charging and battery life

While the first Magic Mouse used AA batteries, version 2 houses a rechargeable lithium cell inside that you charge via a Lighting cable. As the port is on the bottom side of the mouse, the device remains unusable during charging. Users report 3-4 weeks of battery life on a full charge.
