The phone supports up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and provides 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, making it capable of handling demanding gaming sessions and multitasking with ease.  Running on Android 15 with ROG UI, the ROG Phone 9 Pro is committed to providing two years of Android updates and five years of security patches. 

Gaming and Cooling Technology

The ROG Phone 9 Pro packs the GameCool 9 cooling system, featuring a bigger graphite sheet to keep things cool during intense gaming. For extra cooling, you can grab the AeroActive Cooler X Pro, which also adds a subwoofer for 2.1-channel audio. Plus, the AniMe Vision LED grid lets you customize with animations, GIFs, and text, giving the phone a bit of personal flair.

Camera System

The ROG Phone 9 Pro features a versatile triple-camera setup on the back. It includes a 50MP Sony Lytia 700 main sensor with hybrid gimbal stabilization for steadier shots and videos. The device houses a 5,800mAh battery, an increase from its predecessor. It supports 65W wired charging, allowing the phone to charge fully in just 46 minutes. Wireless charging is capped at 15W. Asus states the battery will retain up to 80% of its original capacity after 1,000 charging cycles.
