Fitbit
Fitbit is a popular brand known for its wearable fitness trackers and smartwatches, designed to help users monitor and improve their health and fitness. The devices track various metrics such as steps, heart rate, sleep patterns, calories burned, and physical activity levels. The brand is widely recognised for promoting an active lifestyle, offering users insights through its app, and integrating with other health platforms for a more comprehensive wellness experience. Fitbit was acquired by Google in 2021, which also sort of marked its downfall.
Other brands like Apple, Samsung, and Garmin were increasing the stakes in the smartwatch industry. Additionally, Google produces its own Pixel line of smartwatches, which pushed Fitbit into the background. As a result, the pace of innovation was slower and there is barely anything that differentiates Fitbit from the crowd now. As a result, the brand is gradually losing its once-dominant position in the wearables market.
