Design and Display

It weighs around 1400 grams and you can reduce the overall bulk even further by carrying a typical 65W PD charger instead of the bulky AC adapter shipped by Dell.  Talking of the display, it’s a compact 14” LCD screen with a matte coating and standard Full HD resolution. The refresh rate and color coverage are also typical of a budget notebook at 60Hz and 66% sRGB respectively. Indoor use and viewing angles should be fine with its 250 nits of rated brightness and use of a WVA panel instead of a TN one.

Connectivity and Extras

Powering the Vostro 2023 (14 inch) is a 3-cell 41Wh battery. That’s not the biggest in size but should provide you with a couple of hours of backup thanks to the efficient processor and display. Connectivity-wise, you get two Type-A ports (1x USB 3), a 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C with PD support, an HDMI, an ethernet port, an audio jack, and an SD slot. On the wireless end, there’s up to dual-band WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3.
