The Osmo Mobile 7P comes with a single-handgrip design. It weighs 368g and can support smartphones up to 300g. The device folds down to 190 x 95 x 46mm for transport. When unfolded, it measures 288 x 107 x 96mm.
The gimbal includes an 8.5-inch extension rod for different shooting angles. It also has a built-in tripod for hands-free operation. The rotation range covers yaw (309°), roll (312°), and tilt (60°) axes for smooth movement.
The Osmo Mobile 7P uses ActiveTrack 7.0 technology to track subjects. It also adjusts zoom levels automatically to keep subjects in frame. Additionally, it has a module with gesture controls and a fill light for low-light shooting.
Setup is quick with the magnetic phone clamp. This clamp works with phones between 67-84mm wide and 6.9-10mm thick. The gimbal has controls including a joystick, zoom wheel, and battery indicators. Furthermore, users can control it through the DJI Mimo App.
The 3350mAh battery provides up to 10 hours of normal use, 5 hours with tracking, or 4 hours with the fill light on. Charging takes 2.5 hours via USB-C. The device can also charge smartphones when powered off.
