In late 2022, iQOO introduced the Neo9 and Neo9 Pro smartphones, with the latter boasting a Dimensity 9300 chipset. Following MediaTek's introduction of a plus variant of the Dimensity 9300 chipset, iQOO is now set to unveil an updated model equipped with this latest processor. Performance

iQOO has released the Neo9S Pro, an updated version of the Neo9 Pro. The Neo9S Pro features the upgraded Dimensity 9300+ chipset. It retains the in-house Q1 chip designed by iQOO to improve gaming performance by providing a more stable frame rate. The GPU on the 9300+ is the same as the regular 9300, with enhancements made to the CPU and APU. The chipset is paired with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

Display and Design

The display of the IQOO Neo9s Pro is a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, 1260 x 2800 resolution (20:9 aspect ratio), and 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.  A new "Star White" colorway with a soft satin finish on the glass back is introduced, alongside the existing black and red/white faux leather options.

Camera and Battery

The front camera is a 16MP sensor, carried over from the previous model. On the back, the IQOO Neo9S Pro has a dual camera setup with two 50MP sensors, with the main camera using a Sony IMX920 sensor and the other one being a 50MP ultrawide camera. In addition, the IQOO Neo9S Pro has a 5,160mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging but no wireless charging support.

IQOO Neo9s Pro Price in Nepal and Availability

The pricing for the Neo9S Pro remains the same as the original Neo9 Pro: the base 12GB/256GB model costs CNY 3,000, with additional variants priced at CNY 3,300 for 12GB/512GB, CNY 3,600 for 16GB/512GB, and CNY 4,000 for the 16GB/1TB option. There is no information yet on whether the Neo9S Pro will be available globally. In fact the phone making its way to Nepal is pretty much unlikely. However, if it ever arrives, we expect the IQOO Neo9S Pro to start at no less than NPR 65,000.
