Lava launches the 5G variant of Yuva smartphone
Lava just announced its first 5G phone in the Yuva series. It still carries an affordable price tag as the rest of its series companions. Let's discuss the latest Lava Yuva 5G in further detail including its price in Nepal.

      Lava Yuva 5G Overview

      Design and Display

This phone comes in a pretty standard design with flat frames and a monotone finish. It comes with a circular camera island aligned at the centre. Meanwhile, the back panel of Lava Yuva 5G is slightly reflective and ships in Mystic Green, and Mystic Blue colour options.

On the front, the phone comes with a 2.5D curved screen. The panel here is an IPS LCD with HD+ resolution. Additionally, it offers a 90Hz refresh rate, 269 PPI pixel density, and a colour depth of 16 million.

      Performance

In terms of performance, the Lava Yuva 5G relies on the UNISOC T750 processor. This obviously is a 5G-ready chip that has been fabbed under a 6nm process. Moreover, this silicon comes with two Cortex-A76 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores clocking in at 2.0GHz and 1.8GHz respectively.

Besides the processor, this phone comes with a single RAM option of 4GB. It does allow you to virtually double the memory capacity. Similarly, the Lava Yuva 5G comes in two storage options: 64GB, and 128GB. Furthermore, the phone supports a 1TB SD card for external storage expansion.

      Camera and the rest

Moving onto the optics department, it appears as if the phone has a quad-camera setup. However, it only houses two lenses out of which only the 50MP primary shooter is a functional one. The auxiliary lens is a 2MP unit whose purpose the company has not specified. In the meantime, the Lava Yuva 5G is equipped with an 8MP camera on the front. In the tank, we are looking at a 5,000 mAh cell that supports 18W of wired charging. For wireless connectivity, it offers 5G cellular, dual-band WiFi 5, and Bluetooth v5.0 support. Likewise, for wired connections, this phone has a USB Type-C port as well as a 3.5mm combo audio jack.
