Lenovo has launched the Legion Tab Gen 3 as the successor to its previous Gen 2 model. This new tablet comes with an 8.8-inch 2.5K display and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Design and Display
The Lenovo Legion Tab (2025) retains a similar design to its predecessor. It features dimensions of 780 x 129.46 x 7.79mm and weighs just 350g. Moreover, it boasts an impressive 8.8-inch 2.5K LCD screen with a 165Hz refresh rate. The tablet offers a 16:10 aspect ratio, 144Hz touch sampling rate in gaming, and covers 98% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
Performance and Memory
At its core, the Legion Tab is powered by the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. This octa-core processor includes a 1-core Cortex-X4 at 3300 MHz, three Cortex-A720 cores at 3150 MHz, two Cortex-A720 cores at 2960 MHz, and two Cortex-A5220 cores at 2270 MHz.
For the graphics, it supports Adreno 750 GPU. Additionally, to keep things cool during intense use, the tablet features a 14% larger Legion Coldfront vapor chamber.
In terms of memory, the Legion Tab comes equipped with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage, expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card. Furthermore, the device runs on Android 14 with ZUI 16.1 and promises 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security updates.
For optics, the Legion Tab features a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.4, a USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2 port (with DP Out and audio), a USB Type-C 2.0 port (for charging and audio), and Wi-Fi 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz).
