The speaker is rectangular in shape, thereby letting you place it horizontally or vertically. The compact style and convenient loop make this speaker easy to carry around. Moreover, it comes with anti-slip paddings which provides a stronger grip. Moving on, it has 2x 8W speakers rated for a maximum output of 16W. This speaker comes with dual sound modes - normal and deep bass. In addition, you can pair it with another Mi Portable 16W speaker for a stereo sound experience. For connectivity, it uses Bluetooth 5.0 and also has a 3.5mm aux-in.  Likewise, Xiaomi says this speaker can last up to 13 hours of playback at 50% volume. Its 2600mAh battery charges via the available USB Type-C port. It takes around 4 hours to fully juice up the battery (5V/1A input).
