MSI announced a couple of new gaming laptops to its portfolio, called the Alpha 15/17 (15-inch and 17-inch variants) and Delta 15 back in July 2021. Starting with, the Delta 15 is a gaming laptop that’s just 19mm (0.74 inches) thin and weighs around 1.9 kg. Its outer body is made out of sand-blasted aluminum and it comes in a single carbon gray color option. In terms of display, the MSI Delta 15 features a 15.6" 1080p IPS panel with a 240Hz refresh rate. It has an RGB backlit keyboard from SteelSeries as well.

Performance

Moving on, MSI Delta 15 is part of the AMD Advantage design framework, which means it comes with AMD's CPU and GPU to take advantage of features like Smart Acess Memory (SAM), SmartShift, and FreeSync. Powering the device is the AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX CPU and Radeon RX 6700M graphics with 10GB GDDR6 VRAM. The available configuration in Nepal has Ryzen 7 5800H and RX 6700M. Memory-wise, it comes with come with up to 64GB DDR4-3200 RAM and 2x NVMe M.2 SSD (PCIe Gen3 x4) slot for storage. MSI Alpha 15/17 Overview:

Likewise, MSI also refreshed the Alpha 15 and Alpha 17 with a brand new chassis design. But they're not available in Nepal as of yet. Here, the former weighs 2.35 kg, while the latter is a little heavier at 2.55 kg. MSI Alpha 15 and Alpha 17 boasts a 15.6" and 17.3" 144Hz IPS panel, respectively. Like the Delta 15, they have a Full HD screen and RGB backlit keyboard. To note, both Alpha and Delta laptops feature AMD's Radeon Anti-lag feature, which significantly decreases input-to-display response times and offers a competitive edge in gameplay.
