Nikon has launched the Z8 in Nepal, a new high-end mirrorless camera that packs most of the flagship Z9's capabilities into a smaller body at a more accessible price point. This article will discuss everything we know about the latest Nikon Z8, including its price in Nepal.
The Z8 uses the same 45.7MP Stacked CMOS sensor as the Z9. It shoots at 20fps with RAW files and up to 30fps for full-frame JPEGs. The camera also offers 60fps in APS-C mode and 120fps at 11MP resolution.
Additionally, the Z8 includes a pre-burst feature that begins capturing images when the shutter is half-pressed. The buffer holds over 1000 JPEGs or compressed RAWs at 20fps.
The Z8 records 8K/30p video in ProRes 422 HQ, H.265, or H.264 formats. It also shoots 8K/60p in N-Raw format and 4K at up to 120fps. The camera can record continuously for up to 90 minutes.
Furthermore, the Z8 supports various video options including N-Log, HLG, and 10-bit 4:2:2 output, making it suitable for professional video work.
The camera features Nikon's latest autofocus system with subject detection for humans, animals, and vehicles. It also includes a dedicated airplane detection mode and 3D tracking autofocus. Nikon has promised a bird detection mode via a future firmware update.
The Nikon Z8 is officially priced at NPR 5,50,000 in Nepal.
