Nvidia launched the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, their latest and greatest consumer-grade graphics card. The company revealed it back in January during Nvidia's CES 2022 keynote and promised to launch it by the end of the month. But due to some unspecified delay, its launch was pushed 2 months later. The RTX 3090 Ti is similar to the existing RTX 3090 in many ways. While the RTX 3090 comes with 10496 CUDA cores, the RTX 3090 Ti offers a slight boost with its 10752 CUDA cores. Moreover, the base and boost clock has seen an increase from 1.40 GHz to 1.67 GHz and 1.70 GHz to 1.86 GHz, respectively. Also, the 24GB of GDDR6X memory got a speed bump from 19.5 to 21 Gbps. NVIDIA has maximized what the 8nm GA102 chip is capable of here. Moreover, the RTX 3090 Ti has 40 TFLOPS of single-precision performance. That translates to around a 9% performance boost compared to the RTX 3090 in terms of gaming (or 64% over RTX 2080 Ti). Also, The new GPU draws 450W power which is 100W more than the RTX 3090.

With all this, the RTX 3090 Ti is currently the world's fastest graphics card. According to NVIDIA, it is geared towards "the most demanding gamers, content creators and data scientists". It is 60% faster than the RTX 2080 Ti and 55% faster than the TITAN RTX. The 3090 Ti will ship with a new 16-pin (12+4) PCIe Gen 5 power connector—the first-ever for an Nvidia graphics card.
