On the back the phone has a quad-camera island, two actual cameras, the other mostly for show, along with an LED light. The device weighs 185 grams and is only 7.65 mm thick. On the front, the phone boasts a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate. The screen has slim bezels of just 1.39 mm and features a punch hole for the front camera. For added security, it comes with an under-display fingerprint scanner. Additionally, the phone is IP69 certified for durability and includes 360-degree NFC support.

Performance and Camera

The Oppo A5 is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, which includes 4 Cortex A73 and 4 Cortex A53 cores. This provides smooth performance for daily tasks, but it's not ideal for gaming. The phone runs on ColorOS 15, based on Android 15. In terms of battery, the A5 comes with a massive 6,500 mAh capacity. For the camera setup you get a 50 MP main lens, a 2 MP portrait camera (though no ultra-wide sensor), and an 8 MP front camera for selfies.
