      POCO F7 expected to launch with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and  7000 mAh battery!
      We already did a review of the Poco F7 ULtra, while the Poco F7 Pro also made a way to the market recently. Now, the company is preparing to launch the vanilla Poco F7 after it was certified for sale in India by the BIS. This article will solely focus on the vanilla model i.e. Poco F7, including its rumors.

      Poco F7 Rumors

      Performance

      The POCO F7 was rumored to feature the Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset. According to the latest news, the chipset is actually the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 instead. This processor is slightly underclocked compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 but offers better performance than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

      Design and Rebranding

      Reports suggest that the POCO F7 will likely be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro. Similarly, the Pro and Ultra variants are expected to correspond to the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro models. Additionally, it might include a 1.5K LTPS AMOLED display.

      Certifications and Connectivity

      As mentioned above, POCO F7 has already been certified by BIS in India under the model number 2412DPC0AI. It was also previously listed on GSMA and Singapore’s IMDA database. Connectivity features on the device may include 5G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and NFC. The device could also pack a 7,000mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging. 

      Poco F7 Launch Timeline and Pricing

      The POCO F7 is expected to launch in April 2025, while the Pro and Ultra models could debut earlier in mid-2025. The pricing is likely to align with the POCO F6, which launched at INR 29,999 in India.
