The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G is the company's 2024 premium midrange offering. This phone comes with slight design tweaks from its predecessor — starting with flat edges. The company has swapped out the plastic frames for aluminium while integrating a bump for buttons. On the front, you get a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED screen with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. It also boasts an IP67 rating. Under the hood, you get Samsung's in-house Exynos 1480 chipset with improved GPU and NPU. Meanwhile, you also get an improved cooling unit. Other than that, it comes with up to 12GB memory coupled with up to 256GB storage. For software, you get Android 14 with OneUI 6.1 on top. You can enjoy four years of OS updates and five years of security patches on this phone. In the rear, you get a triple camera setup comprising of 50MP primary, 12MP ultrawide, and 5MP macro. On the front, you get a 32MP shooter.
