Realme has introduced its latest smartphone, the Realme P3 5G in India. This model features impressive specs that include a 120Hz AMOLED screen, a 6,000 mAh battery, and an IP69 rating. In this article, we will go over the specifications of the Realme P3 5G and its expected price in Nepal.

The Realme P3 5G caught my attention with its sleek design. It’s got a nice slim profile at 163.15×75.65×7.97 mm and weighs just 194 grams, so it must be comfortable in hand. It ships in three different colors among which the Nebula Pink and Comet Grey offer a clean minimalist look while the Space Silver has a futuristic vibe. The camera module on the back comes with two sensors and an LED flash. But what truly stands out for me is the power button which comes in a striking orange color. It’s such a cool little detail that gives the phone some personality. Another thing that’s worth mentioning is its IP69 rating which makes the phone dust and water-resistant. It’s not something you usually find on budget phones so Realme has really done some work here. Finally, the in-display fingerprint sensor adds a nice touch of security and convenience. All in all, I’m genuinely impressed with what Realme has packed into this phone. On the front, it offers a 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED screen with a punch-hole display. The slim bezels provide an elegant finish. While the Realme P3 Pro 5G has a quad-curved AMOLED display the Realme P3 comes with a flat screen. But being a base variant we can't really complain, alright. With a peak brightness of 2,000 nits, a 1,500 nits touch sampling rate, and a 92.65% screen-to-body ratio this handset aims to deliver a premium viewing experience.

Performance and Battery

Under the hood, Realme P3 5G is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 SoC which makes the device the first smartphone in India to feature this chipset. This processor has one Cortex A-720 core running at 2.3 GHz, three Cortex A-720 cores at 2.2 GHz, and four Cortex-A520 cores at 1.8 GHz. The use of this chipset is something appreciable point from the company for a budget phone. Additionally, it features a 6050mm² aerospace-grade cooling system that supports 90fps in BGMI. With this feature, your phone won't heat much even while playing high-end games like PUBG and Freefire. So if you are someone who's looking for a good gaming phone at a decent price, the Realme P3 5G might be the right choice for you. The Realme P3 5G houses a massive 6,000 mAh Titan battery with 45W fast charging. One of the unique features of this phone is it supports Bypass Charging (the power is supplied directly to the components instead of the battery which prevents the battery from heating up) so, no heating issue again! Additionally, you can choose from three configurations: 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256 GB. On the software side, it runs on Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0.

Camera and Rest

The camera specs didn't impress me that well. For photography the Realme P3 5G features a 50MP rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP portrait sensor but the wide camera is missing. On the front, there's a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.4 aperture. What's good about this guy is you can shoot videos at 4k 30fps with stabilization. In terms of connectivity, the device supports USB Type-C charging and Bluetooth 5.2. Other features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11 ax, 2.4GHz + 5GHz), Beidou/GPS/GLONASS/Galileo/QZSS, NFC, and stereo speakers. Moreover, the Realme P3 5G includes a GT Boost feature for AI enhancements like AI Motion Control and AI Ultra Touch Control. The Antenna Array Matrix 2.0 it comes with promises 30% smoother connectivity in difficult environments, such as subways and underground garages.

Realme P3 5G Availability and Price in Nepal

While we have all the details about the Realme P3 5G, it hasn't launched officially yet. The launch is set for March 19. However, we do know the price; it will start at INR 16,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant. Once it arrives in Nepal, we can expect the price to be around NPR 30,000.
