Redmi has officially unveiled its new wireless earbuds, the Redmi Buds 7S, in China. The company has opened reservations through the retailer platform JD.com. The device succeeds last year’s Redmi Buds 6S and brings several hardware and software upgrades. The device features a dual-driver setup combining a 12.4mm titanium-coated dynamic driver and a 5.5mm micro piezoelectric ceramic unit. In addition, it comes with five EQ presets and is certified by NetEase Cloud Music.
The Buds 7S includes SoundID-based audio tuning, which adjusts the sound based on user preferences. Furthermore, it supports spatial audio through Xiaomi’s HRTF algorithm.
The earbuds support active noise cancellation using two microphones. It offers deep and balanced ANC modes. Additionally, it adjusts noise control based on the environment and fit. It also includes wind noise resistance up to 9m/s.
The earbuds offer 6.5 hours of playback on a single charge. The total battery life reaches 32 hours with the case. Moreover, a 10-minute charge provides 2 hours of use.
The Buds 7S supports dual-device connectivity and fast pairing. Users can customize controls through the Xiaomi Earbuds App. In addition, it comes with Cloud Light Effect 2.0 and improved battery indicators.
