The Redmi Watch 5 can also be used as NFC car keys and smart device remotes. You can also use third-party apps on the watch like Baidu Maps and play mini-games. There is an eSIM-enabled variant which lets you make and receive calls right from the watch. Other than that, it can be used as a walkie-talkie with Bluetooth over 200 metres.
The Redmi Watch 5 does all the fitness and health tracking too. It monitors your heart rate, blood oxygen, and sleep, and lets you track over 150 different types of sports and activities. In the tank, it has a 550mAh battery and lasts up to 24 days on typical usage. Meanwhile, the eSIM version only offers half the battery life at 12 days.
