Sony has introduced its new flagship TV, the BRAVIA 8 II, a QD-OLED model designed for home theater setups. It replaces the A95L and adds AI-powered features for improved picture and sound, along with enhancements for gamers. The BRAVIA 8 II comes in 55-inch and 65-inch models. It features over eight million self-lit pixels, ensuring deep blacks and bright visuals. The QD-OLED panel, combined with XR Triluminos Max, delivers more realistic colors. The XR Processor uses AI to enhance picture quality, while XR Clear Image sharpens HD content.
The TV features Acoustic Surface Audio+, which turns the screen itself into a speaker. Voice Zoom 3 improves dialogue clarity. It also supports Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and IMAX Enhanced formats. When paired with BRAVIA Theater systems, the audio aligns with on-screen action for a better experience.
The BRAVIA 8 II runs on Google TV and supports both Apple AirPlay 2 and Google Cast. It offers dedicated picture modes for Netflix, Prime Video, and Sony Pictures Core, with IMAX Enhanced content available through the Sony Pictures Core app.
For PlayStation 5 users, the TV includes Auto HDR Tone Mapping, Auto Genre Picture Mode, and a Game Menu. The design follows Sony’s “Slim One Slate” approach and includes a stand compatible with soundbars.
The optional BRAVIA Cam adjusts picture and sound based on your position. It also supports gesture control and provides child alerts.
