How to use Spandan ECG?

1. Download and Install the App

• Scan the provided QR code or search for “Spandan ECG” on the Google Play Store.
• Install the app on your Android smartphone.

2. Connect Spandan 4.0

• Use a micro-USB cable to connect the Spandan device to your smartphone.

3. Enable OTG Connection

• Open your phone settings and search for “OTG.”
• Enable the OTG connection and return to the Spandan app.

4. Prepare the Electrodes

• Clip the electrodes onto the provided chest leads.
• Remove the plastic covering from the electrodes.
• For better adhesion, clean the skin with an alcohol prep pad or benzoin tincture.

5. Position the Electrodes

For Males:

• Red lead: Right shoulder
• Green lead: Left shoulder
• Yellow lead: Position as guided in the app

For Females:

• Follow the same process, ensuring proper placement around the breast area as shown in the app.

6. Record the 12-Lead ECG

• Move the Yellow lead sequentially from V1 to V6 and then to Lead II, following app instructions.
• Once at Lead II, switch the Green lead with the Yellow lead.
• The app will provide guidance for correct placement.

7. Stay Still and Record

• Remain relaxed and avoid movement during recording.
• The app will notify you when the process is complete.

8. Generate and Share Your Report

• After recording, the app generates a report.
