Surface Laptop/Pro for Business Overview

Design and Display

Both the Surface Laptop and Surface Pro for Business feature sleek and thin designs. The base variant of the Surface Laptop includes a large precision haptic touchpad. At the same time, the Surface Pro offers versatile usage as both a tablet and laptop with the Surface Pro Flex Keyboard, which can be attached or used wirelessly. When it comes to displays, the Surface Laptop is available in two sizes: a 13.8-inch model (dimensions: 1.85 x 8.67 x 0.69mm) and a 15-inch model (dimensions: 12.9 x 9.41 x 0.72mm). Both have an anti-reflective coating with ultra-thin bezels. On the other side, the Surface Pro for Business features a 13-inch PixelSense display with anti-reflective and adaptive color technology, reducing reflections by up to 50%. It offers two screen types i.e. OLED with a 28880 x 1920 res up to 120Hz refresh rate, and an LCD screen.

Performance and Battery

Under the hood, both the Surface Laptop and Surface Pro are powered by the Intel Core Ultra Series 2 (Lunar Lake) processors. Moreover, memory options include 16GB or 32GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and storage options range from 256GB to 1TB Gen 4 SSD. Likewise, the Surface Laptop 13.8-inch offers up to 20 hours of video playback and up to 12 hours of web usage. The 15-inch version provides up to 22 hours of video playback and up to 14 hours of web usage. The Pro has a slightly lower battery life, offering up to 14 hours of video playback and up to 10 hours of web usage.

Camera and Connectivity

In terms of optics, the base variant features a 1080p full HD front camera with Windows Hello while the Pro includes a 1440p Quad HD front-facing camera and a 10MP Ultra HD rear camera.
