Umidigi G5 Tab launched in Nepal with UNISOC processor
UMIDIGI has been offering light-powered devices targeted at consumers with a tight budget. They launched a modest G1 Tab a few months ago in Nepal. Now, the UMIDIGI G5 is official in Nepal. Let's take a look at the UMIDIGI G5 Tab in greater detail including its official price in Nepal.

      UMIDIGI G5 Tab Overview

      Design and Display

The UMIDIGI G5 Tab comes in an aluminium alloy body that as per the company is of aviation grade. It has a small rounded rectangular camera island that is further divided into three compartments. This tablet is available in a sole monotone Space Grey colour option.

On the front, you get a 10.1-inch display surrounded by sizable bezels in black. UMIDIGI has not specified the type of panel on the G5 Tab, which hints that it is a low-grade panel, most probably a TFT LCD. In the meantime, it comes in HD+ resolution spanning 1,280 x 800 pixels. With this, it comes with a pixel density of 149.95 PPI while maintaining an aspect ratio of 16:10.

      Performance

As mentioned earlier, the offerings from this company are usually light-powered ideal for minimal usage. Similarly, the UMIDIGI G5 Tab comes with a UNISOC T606 processor under the hood. This chipset falls on the lower end even in UNISOC's catalogue with a 12-nanometre fabrication and peak clock speed of 1.6 GHz.

The supporting performance hardware includes a 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and a 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. In case you require a performance boost, you can double the tablet's memory virtually. Moreover, you can also expand the storage up to 1TB with an external TF card. On the software side of things, the UMIDIGI G5 Tab boots on Android 13 out of the box.

      Camera and the rest

In the optics department, you get a primary 13MP shooter with f/2.2 aperture. Furthermore, you get a 2MP auxiliary lens on the UMIDIGI G5 Tab acting as the depth camera. On the front, it has an 8MP camera doubling down for selfies as well as face recognition.

For further wireless connectivity, it has WiFi 5, Bluetooth v5.0, and four-way navigation support. You also get a dual speakers setup with stereo sound support.
