Vivo launched Vivo V50 Lite 4G in Turkey a few days ago. And now the company has added a 5G model to the V50 Lite. The phone comes with a MediaTek 6300 chipset unlike the Snapdragon 685 in the 4G model. In this article, we will discuss the Vivo V50 Lite 5G including its specifications and price in Nepal.
Vivo V50 Lite 5G Overview
Design and Display
The design of the Vivo V50 Lite 5G remains identical to the 4G model with a flat-edged design, a matte finish on the back and a pill-shaped camera island. Upfront, it features a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering a resolution of 1080+ and a peak brightness of up to 1,800 nits. For security, the device includes an optical fingerprint sensor beneath the screen.
The phone is IP65 rated which means it’s dust-tight and can withstand weak water jets. Additionally, Vivo provides a custom protective case that uses air-cushion technology to safeguard the screen from drops and tumbles. The Vivo V50 Lite 5G comes in Titanium Gold, Phantom Black (with a purple tint), Fancy Purple, and Silk Green color options.
Performance and Battery
Under the hood, the Vivo V50 Lite 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, featuring 2 Cortex A76 cores and 6 Cortex A55 cores. For graphics it has a Mali-G57 MP2 GPU. This combination should handle everyday tasks smoothly and even offer decent performance for gaming. Moreover, the phone comes with either 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, along with 256GB or 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage. However, there is no microSD slot for additional storage which I think is a bit of a downside. On the software end, you will get an Android 15.
As for the battery the device boasts a large 6,500mAh batter which Vivo claims will retain at least 80% of its capacity even after 5 years of usage. A full charge provides up to 10.5 hours of gaming which is something impressive for a device with such a large battery.
Camera and Other Features
The Vivo V50 Lite 5G features a 50MP Sony IMX8882 main sensor, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide camera. Notably, the ultra-wide camera was absent in the 4G model. There’s also a 2MP helper camera alongside the main sensor. For selfies, the phone is equipped with a 32MP front camera which is the same as the 4G version.
For connectivity, this handset supports Bluetooth V5.4 and is expected to feature Wi-Fi 5 (AC). Additionally, the phone has stereo speakers and a ring flash on the back, enhancing the audio and photography experience. Other than that, you will also get an AI Erase 2.0 tool.

Vivo V50 Lite 5G Price in Nepal and Availability
The Vivo V50 Lite 5G is priced at €400 for the 12GB/512GB variant in Spain. So once it becomes available in Nepal, we can expect the price of Vivo V50 Lite 5G to be around NPR 62,000 which I think is really overpriced given that the 4G is expected to be around 32,880.
