A while ago, we got to know that Vivo is launching a ‘Jovi’ variant of Y39 5G soon. While that might be on its way, the company has now released the Vivo Y39 5G variant as a successor to last year's Y29 5G. This new model features a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset and a 50 MP main camera. In this article, we will discuss the Vivo Y39 5G including its specifications and expected price in Nepal.

Design and Display
The Vivo Y39 5G features a sleek, premium design with a round camera island and LED flash. The Ocean Blue version has a shimmering finish, while the Lotus Purple comes with a plain finish. The handset has a dimension of 165.70 x 76 x 8.28 mm and weighs between 205-207 grams.
On the front, you get a large 6.68-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display also boasts HD+ resolution and a peak brightness of 1000 nits making it sharp and bright enough even in direct sunlight. Plus, it has Military-Grade durability, Shield Glass protection, and an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance, so you can rely on it for some rugged use. For added strength, it also comes with SCHOTT Xensation α Cover Glass, and for security, the phone is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for quick and easy unlocking.
Performance and Battery
Under the hood, the Vivo Y39 5G runs on the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, which includes two Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0 GHz, and on the GPU end, we get an Adreno 613 GPU. So with this guy, you’ll get smooth performance for daily tasks and moderate gaming.
The phone is packed with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB/256GB storage options that use UFS 2.2 technology. Additionally, there is also a dual SIM option for you. The Vivo Y39 5G is backed by a massive 6,500 mAh battery, which is supported by 44W fast charging.
Camera and Other Features
In terms of photography, the Vivo Y39 5G features a 50 MP rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2 MP portrait camera with an f/2.4 aperture for better depth effects in portraits. On the front, you get an 8 MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
For connectivity, the device supports USB Type-C, Bluetooth 5.0, and Wi-Fi 5. It also comes with a bottom-ported speaker that offers 400% volume amplification for good audio quality.
The Vivo Y39 5G starts at INR 16,999 for the 8 GB+128 GB model. Once it launches in Nepal, we expect the price of the Vivo Y39 5G to be around NPR 30,000.
