      WorldLink launches Nepal’s largest data center in Chandragiri
      WorldLink Communications has launched “Data World,” Nepal’s largest data center, in Chandragiri, Kathmandu. The facility aims to improve Nepal's internet speed, reliability, and digital infrastructure. This article will discuss everything about the latest Worldlink data center in Chandragiri.

      WorldLink Data World Overview

      The data center is located near the Mata Tirtha substation with a 3.5-megawatt IT power capacity and supports 520 racks. It is Nepal’s first Tier-3 and Edge-certified green facility. The center is earthquake-resistant and carrier-neutral, allowing multiple ISPs, telecom providers, and businesses to use its services.

      WorldLink plans to establish 14 data centers across Nepal, with the Kathmandu center being the largest. The company has committed NRs. 3 billion to this project. The remaining 13 centers will be Tier-2 certified and placed in major towns.

      Investment and Expansion

      Finnfund, Finland’s development financier, has invested €10 million in WorldLink to expand digital access in rural areas. Additionally, WorldLink is partnering with Nokia to enhance network reliability and speed.
